Rosewood Le Guanahani St Barth
Eighteen acres on a private peninsula between lagoon and ocean

Le Guanahani has the best piece of land on St Barth: an eighteen-acre peninsula at Grand Cul-de-Sac with a shallow, wind-protected lagoon on one side and open Atlantic on the other. Guests can kitesurf in the morning and swim in flat water in the afternoon without moving the car.
Accommodation is in individual brightly painted cottages scattered across the gardens, many with private pools. After Hurricane Irma the property was rebuilt from the ground up and reopened under Rosewood, and the rooms are considerably more refined than the older incarnation while keeping the Creole colour palette.
There are two restaurants, a Rosewood Sense spa, two pools, tennis and a genuine kids club, which makes this the default choice for families and multi-generational groups on an island that does not always cater to them.
