Capella Hanoi
An opera house fantasy of forty-seven rooms beside Hanoi's Grand Opera House

Capella Hanoi occupies a small building beside the city's Grand Opera House, and the design takes that neighbour as its entire premise. Corridors are hung with costumes and playbills, the bar is styled as a backstage green room, and each of the forty-seven rooms is imagined as the dressing room of a different performer.
Despite the flamboyance the hotel is intimate and quiet, with a heated indoor pool, a spa, and Hibana by Koki, a teppanyaki counter that has held a Michelin star. Service is closer to a private club than a large city hotel.
Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter's thirty-six streets and the museums of the French Quarter are all walkable, which makes this one of the best-placed luxury bases in northern Vietnam.
