Phu Quoc sits in the Gulf of Thailand, closer to Cambodia than to mainland Vietnam, and its western shore catches the sunset every evening. Regent opened here in 2022 with an all-suite and villa layout arranged around a series of reflecting pools and water gardens.
Every unit has a sea or garden outlook, and the villas add private pools and direct beach access. There are several restaurants including a Cantonese room and a beach club, plus a spa with hydrotherapy facilities and a generous kids club.
Beyond the resort, the island offers pepper farms, fish sauce distilleries, a national park covering the northern half, and boat trips to the An Thoi islands in the south.
