Leopard Trails Wilpattu
A mobile tented camp on the edge of Sri Lanka's largest and quietest national park

Wilpattu is the island's largest national park and, thanks to decades of closure during the civil war, still its least visited. Its character comes from the villus, natural sand-rimmed lakes scattered through dense dry forest, where leopards and sloth bears come to drink.
Leopard Trails runs a mobile-style camp of large walk-in tents with proper beds, en-suite bathrooms and electricity, pitched just outside the park boundary. The emphasis is squarely on the guiding: small vehicles, experienced trackers and long drives rather than quick circuits.
Evenings are spent around a campfire with dinner cooked on site. The camp is a comfortable drive from Anuradhapura, which makes it easy to combine wildlife with the Cultural Triangle.
