Hermitage Bay
Thirty freestanding cottages on a jungled hillside above a private bay

Hermitage Bay sits at the end of a rough track on Antigua's quiet western shore, which is part of the point: the bay is effectively private and the nearest development is some distance away. Thirty freestanding cottages are spread between the beach and the wooded hillside behind it.
Hillside suites have plunge pools and wide decks with long views over the water, while beachfront cottages open straight onto the sand. Interiors are pale wood, white linen and shutters, with no televisions to speak of.
The rate is all-inclusive and covers everything of consequence, with a single restaurant that changes its menu daily and a kitchen that takes local produce seriously. The resort completed a substantial renovation of all thirty villas and reopened in late 2024.
