Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe
Thirty hillside pool villas built around wellbeing in Mexico's wine valley

Veya is Banyan Tree's wellbeing-led brand, and Valle de Guadalupe is its first standalone property: thirty villas with private pools stepping up the dry hills above Mexico's main wine region, an hour and a half south of the US border at Tijuana.
Stays are built around a wellness framework rather than a spa menu, with movement, sleep and nutrition programmes alongside treatments, though nothing is compulsory. The valley setting means the other half of the appeal is food and wine: dozens of wineries and the region's celebrated open-fire restaurants are within a short drive.
The landscape is high desert scrub and granite, hot and dry in summer, cool at night. Harvest season in late summer brings the valley's Vendimia festivals and the resort's own events.
