Zarafa looks out over the Zibadianja Lagoon, the source of the Savute Channel, on the Selinda Reserve. The reserve covers around 320,000 acres of private land bridging the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti waterways, and hosts one of the larger elephant populations in Botswana along with substantial predator numbers.

There are only four tented suites, each over a thousand square feet, with a copper bath, a wood-burning stove, a private plunge pool and a deck facing the water. A separate two-suite Dhow Suites villa can be taken for exclusive use.

The camp equips each suite with photographic gear for guests to use, and drives are run with photographers in mind. Boating on the lagoon and the Selinda Spillway is possible when water levels allow, and walking safaris run with armed guides during the dry months.
