The Tryall Club
Staffed villas across a 2,200-acre former sugar estate on the north coast

Tryall occupies 2,200 acres of former sugar estate west of Montego Bay, with a 300-year-old great house at its centre and around eighty privately owned villas spread across the hillside and shore. There are no hotel rooms; guests rent a villa and it comes with its own staff.
Each villa has a cook, housekeeper, butler and gardener, plus a private pool, which makes the arrangement work particularly well for families and groups who want to eat when and what they like.
The championship golf course runs along the coast and has hosted professional events for decades. Beyond it there are tennis courts, a beach club, a spa and watersports. Rates are per villa rather than per room, so the figure quoted here is only a rough per-night guide.
