Killiehuntly is an 1850 farmhouse on a 9,800-acre stretch of Badenoch farmland within the wider Glenfeshie estate, restored by Wildland into something the owners describe as Highland Nordic. The stonework, flagstones and open fires are entirely Scottish; the sheepskins, wood and deliberate emptiness are not.
Five bedrooms sit in the farmhouse itself, with a cottage and a bothy alongside — ten guests in total when everything is taken. Breakfast, a packed lunch and a shared three-course dinner are included, with an honesty bar for the hour beforehand. There are no televisions, and children under ten are not accommodated.
Outside are Glen Feshie, the Spey and the whole Cairngorm plateau, plus a sauna yurt and cold plunge for the return. The estate's long-running deer management and native woodland regeneration work is visible in every direction.
