A rooftop infinity pool over Loch Lomond, and a Michelin star in the building

Cameron House occupies a baronial mansion on the southern shore of Loch Lomond, inside the national park and about forty minutes from Glasgow. Rebuilt and reopened after the 2017 fire, it now runs as a full resort: mansion rooms, suites in the Auld House, and lodges and cottages spread across the estate.
Dining is unusually deep for a Scottish resort — eight venues in total, headed by LOMA, where Graeme Cheevers holds a Michelin star. The Cameron Spa is the other headline, with a rooftop infinity pool looking straight up the loch towards Ben Lomond.
There are two golf courses including The Carrick, a marina with boat and seaplane access, and enough on site to keep a family occupied for a week. Condé Nast Traveller readers placed it fifth among European resorts in 2025.
